It's not uncommon to feel overwhelmed when you begin your search for a new therapist. Congratulations on taking the first step! Feeling the pressures of everyday life, struggling with ‘imposter syndrome,’ flooded with thoughts that you’re not meeting your own expectations (or someone else’s)? These are just a few of the areas I commonly support clients with. I regularly work with young adults and professionals coping with recent life changes and/or stressors that are impacting their ability to: concentrate, engage with others or maintain meaningful relationships or manage their emotional state. When a person is ready, I assist them in exploring and identifying their strengths, and the skills they can apply to their current stressors while introducing healthier coping skills to trial.
